Anyone that has been on a road trip knows that traveling by RV is so much easier than going in a car or SUV. For those that haven’t experienced the luxury, let’s explore why it is so much more fun.
Comfort
Driving in any size car, even the biggest, does not compare to having a full bed to use whenever you need it. Not only can you use it overnight, but if you’re feeling tired while on the road, you can pull over at a rest stop and get a quality cat nap.
The bed is just the beginning! You’ll be traveling with a kitchen and dining room as well. That means that you can always eat a home cooked meal with the family, or at the very least eat your fast food together at the dinner table.
The last feature that we absolutely love about traveling by RV is that most come with a retractable awning. If you have a couple of collapsible tables and chairs, you’ll be able to sit outside and enjoy nature while you have a quick lunch or play some games while the traffic dies down.
Better yet, if you stay at an RV Park, they’ll have the benches taken care of for you.
Better Views, For Free!
You may not have realized this, but there are several RV campgrounds in the lake and beach areas. While everyone is paying hundreds of dollars a night to stay in a lodge or beach house, you’ll be able to get an even better view for roughly $15 a day!
The best part about this is that you can easily leave the area in search for a better campground, and if it isn’t to your liking you can head back to it and stay again without any cancellation fees or reservations! We do suggest checking to see if you need to make reservations ahead of time for the more popular areas as they usually do get booked out weeks or even months in advance.
Flexibility
Being able to pick up and go anywhere is just one type of flexibility that an RV offers. One that isn’t given enough credit is giving your friends and family a chance to pick up and visit you!
Using the RV as a home base where everyone can meet and stay the night on the fold out bed from the couch is one of the best features. It may end up being a little crowded sometimes, but having the ability to all be together is worth it.
Another great part of being able to pick up and move is that your family and friends can follow along in their car and you can all enjoy a whole new area together!
