Need a few ideas on great places to take your Valentine? We’ve got you covered. Even if these aren’t entirely up your alley, maybe they’ll spark some ideas to help you find that perfect getaway for you and your sweetie.

Las Vegas, Nevada

When you think of Las Vegas, what do you think of? For some people, Vegas is all about the casinos. Blackjack, poker, slot machines, craps, and tables. They know the odds are stacked against them, but they love to sit down and play casino games.

Others are all about the shows. Vegas always has a ton of shows to choose from. Concerts, plays, comedy acts, and Cirque du Soleil are all over the place.

Maybe you’re more of a foodie or like hitting the Vegas nightlife. Then, again, you have tons of options.

Assuming you like any of these things, Vegas is a great place to check out this holiday.

Asheville, North Carolina

Moving in a very different direction, maybe you want something a bit slower-paced than Vegas. Asheville has you covered there.

Asheville is a neat town because it’s big enough that you can find things to do, but it’s small enough that it’s pretty quiet. You can walk the main street downtown and check out the small shops. You can take a short drive to the Biltmore Estate, a famous tourist attraction that includes tours of the mansion, wine tasting, exploring the gardens, and more.

Asheville is also in the mountains, so there are some great places to go hiking, camping, fishing, and stargazing. While February isn’t the warmest month, you’re still in the South, so it usually has mild weather.

Mexico Beach, Florida

Have you ever wanted to go to a beautiful beach and enjoy the sand and surf without the huge crowds? If that sounds like the Valentine’s Day trip you want, consider Mexico Beach, Florida.

As part of the “Forgotten Coast,” Mexico Beach has beautiful beaches without the crowds you often get with bigger towns like Destin or Panama City Beach. You can enjoy soft, sugary sand and great seafood without needing to grab your spot on the beach at 7 am before all of the good spots are taken.

This is an excellent option if you want a quiet beach holiday with your special someone.

Flagstaff, Arizona

Did you know there is a ski town nestled in the mountains of Arizona? Yes - Arizona is not just desert and more desert. Flagstaff gets 100 inches of snow every year, making it a great destination to get some skiing or tubing.

There are other things you can do, too. The Grand Canyon isn’t a long drive, making it a great day trip while staying in Flagstaff. You can also head south to an area like Sedona and do some exploring.

Conclusion

Hopefully, these places at least spark a few ideas on where you can spend this Valentine’s Day. So, wherever you choose to go, make sure you take the time to implement some of our romantic ideas for RVers to help make it a Valentine’s Day for the books!
