When traveling in an RV you have the freedom to go anywhere that four wheels could possibly take you. One disadvantage is the small, cramped space that you frantically try to cram all your household appliances into. Extra counter space and spacious cupboards are no longer a thing, and you refrigerator and freezer have magically cut in half. Don’t worry, there’s no need to sacrifice all that you are accustomed to. All you need are a few everyday tools that are easily storable and you’ll never miss out on the comforts of home again!

Dutch Oven: a thick-walled cooking pot with a tight-fitting lid. These are great for slow cooking meals such as roasts, stews, and casseroles. They are camping as well! Dutch ovens can be used over a campfire to fix biscuits, breads, pizza, and even your favorite pies. Be sure to pick the best one that suits you. There are many colors and sizes available. Don’t forget to store it in your standing oven to maximize cabinet space!

Portable Grill (Sunbeam Rocket Grill): I’m sure any portable grill would work just fine, but the Sunbeam Rocket Grill is by far the most popular grill. The great thing about this portable grill is that this is a no mess appliance. It grills your food in pouches then funnels all the grease and fat to the bottom. Not only is the cleanup easy but the meal is healthier!

Keurig MINI Coffee Maker: It’s no secret that single serve coffee makers are a thing, but this mini Keurig is perfect for your RV kitchen. In less than two minutes, it will brew a perfect cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or iced beverage with no filters of mess. There are three different sizes to choose from so all you need to do is decide which you would like!

Magic Bullet: This is the ultimate kitchen tool. It’s a food processor, blender, and coffee grinder all in one, taking up as much space as a coffee mug. You can do anything from chopping up onions with no tears to mixing up your favorite drink in seconds!  Note that the Magic Bullet comes equip with 17 pieces. I would suggest ordering it at home and deciding which pieces to take on the road with you.

These are our top 4, but our list is ever growing. Here is to carefree cooking!
